One of Australia's foremost experts in industrial safety, organisation and management, John works closely with businesses to develop practical solutions to OH&S and emergency response processes. His approach is informed by front line experience and higher level policy perspectives from his time with the ambulance service, the military and in government.
John is a driving force behind the simplification of OH&S and first aid training regimes in Australia. A strong advocate for the reduction of the multiple regulatory regimes afflicting business, he helped found Emergency Care Providers - Australia (now AECP), towards the goal of one Australian marketplace. It is the first Australian peak body covering first aid and emergency care training and service companies, and John serves as Foundation National President.
Cynergex Group was originally established by John Fahey in 1995 under the name Incident Training Services.

Frances Fahey is one of the country's leading innovators in adult education, an OH&S technical expert and creator of several new courses in OH&S. She develops the training and educational strategies for Cynergex Group's clients, drawing upon a background in nursing, community care, OH&S and vocational training. and has extensive experience in dealing with government at all levels on vocational training.
Frances has worked as an educator at University of Technology, Sydney and at Baptist Community Services where she ran significant labour market programmes and was a major contributor to the development of the first Nursing Assistant and Children's Services Traineeships in NSW.
Frances has completed her Masters in OH&S Management, at the University of Technology Sydney. Frances is a member of the Safety Institute of Australia (SIA) and the immediate past President of the Australian Emergency Care Providers (AECP), the peak body for the first aid and pre-hospital care training organisations.

Master Mariner Graeme Peterson has developed patented rescue devices, been recognised with three major industry awards and has trained more than 3,000 people in safety related programmes. These range from industrial and medical gas safety to government accredited maritime OH&S, a course he co-authored.
Twenty five years working with large organisations in the defence, ship building, industrial gases, offshore petroleum and maritime industries mean Graeme delivers to Cynergex Groups' clients a level of expertise that is hard to match.
Winner of the Victorian WorkCover "Excellence in Safety" Award 1997, a WorkCover Award in 1998 and the inaugural, federal government Seacare Award for "Best Solution to a Major OH&S Risk" in 2003, Graeme's solutions address major OH&S risks.
